Dr. Zhen completed her nephrology fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass., and her internal medicine residency at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. She received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine.Dr. Zhen knew she wanted to go into medicine at an early age. “Growing up, I had to go to many doctor appointments with my parents and grandparents to help translate, ” says Dr. Zhen. “And I always admired the physicians and what they were able to do. In school, I also really enjoyed education and science.
