Brittany Sweet, MD, provides care with Springfield Clinic’s Dermatology Department and sees patients at Springfield Clinic Monroe.Dr. Sweet earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. "Originally, I went to medical school with the intention of going into family medicine, like my father, " says Dr. Sweet. "But after a dermatology rotation, I fell in love with the uniqueness of the specialty while getting to maintain long-term continuity of care with my patients."In her practice, Dr. Sweet looks to provide her patients with stability and reassurance throughout their care experience."I'm very invested in my patients, " says Dr. Sweet. "If someone comes into my office and wants to get better I immediately become just as invested in their health as they are. I want them to know that I am their advocate and their support."In her free time, Dr. Sweet enjoys spending time with her two boys, gardening, hiking and kayaking.
