Description
Cardiology was an attractive specialty to Dr. Popp because she knew she wanted to treat patients in the office as well as do procedures. So, she completed her internal medicine residency, where she was chief resident, at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas, and her fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at St. Louis University School of Medicine. "I want to spend time talking with patients and getting to know them, " Dr. Popp says about her practice with Springfield Clinic. "I want patients to know I'm a good listener."
